“Recently I visited the Men’s Shed in Arklow and heard first hand from its members about the benefit of the Men’s Shed to their life and their community.

“Myself and the rest of the panel were able to suggest best practice ideas and hopefully these will bring about solutions to some of the obstacles currently facing the organisation which is growing so fast around the country.

“I look forward to seeing Irish Men’s Sheds spreading to more towns and villages across Wicklow in the coming years. I am eager to continue supporting this initiative and helping in any way I can.”
