AGB registration day

The Arklow Geraldines Ballymoney registration and Family Fun Day 2014 will take place on this coming Sunday, February 9th.

It will take place in the Arklow Bay Hotel from 2pm to 5pm with a grand prize draw featuring ‘One Direction’ tickets, among others, at 5.30pm.

This is going to be a fantastic family day with face-painting, balloon modelling and East Coast FM on location to entertain! Our County Champion Scór dancers will provide further entertainment on the day. Also anyone who buys/orders club gear on the day will go into a draw for a free Hoodie, Jersey and Poloshirt!

Registration Day is for all players and members, current and new, ladies and men, boys and girls.  Training times will be available on the day or will be posted on www.arklowgaa.com.

For First Time Registrations please bring a copy of Birth Certificate & Passport Photo if possible. (These will only be used for purposes of Gaelic football admin). Cost of registration is from €20 for Academy to €60 for Adult playing members.  This includes insurance for the year.  Family discounts available.

AGB will be holding trials for a Scór Juvenile quiz team at Registration Day at 3pm. This team will go on to represent the club at the Wicklow county final of the Scór Quiz. The Wicklow County final will be held on Wednesday, the 12th February, at 7.30pm in the Glendalough hotel.

The winner of this will go on to represent Wicklow in the All Ireland Finals in Castlebar on the 1st March.  Any enquiries please contact Kathryn Noone on 086 8664931. Individuals or groups, club members or non-members, are more than welcome to try out on the day. Interested applicants must have been aged U17 on 1st January 2014.

The Juvenile Boy’s Presentation will also take place on registration day in the Arklow Bay Hotel. The Academy boys presentation will take place at 2.30pm, the U10’s at 3.15pm and the U16’s at 4.00pm. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your time.
