On Sunday February 16 the walk is Brown Mountain/Scarr (grade B, 12km), meeting in Tinahely Square at 10.00am. OnS unday February 23 the walk is Croghanmoira (grade B, 10km), meeting in Tinahely Square at 10.30am. Please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear. Full walking schedule is on the Tinahely Website.

The Scoil Aodan Naofa debate team finished runners up in the recent primary schools debate final held in Wexford Education Centre, Cora Tyrell, Rachel Sheil and Lauren Byrne had blazed a trail through this year’s competition in their first time to take part in the event. Congratulations to the talented trio and their mentors Paula O’Riordan and Tena Sheil on their fine accomplishments this year. We hope that their pioneering efforts will inspire other children in years to come.
The card drives continue on Monday nights in Askamore at 8.30pm tickets only €2 from any of the committee, all welcome, February 10th is Ballyellis N.S. 24th Lourdes Pilgrimage Trust.
Askamore Community Council will hold their AGM on Monday 3rd March in the activity centre all members of the community are welcome to attend.
