DEMENTIA
An information evening on Dementia will take place on Thursday 6th March at 7.30pm in Colaiste Bhride Carnew all welcome.

REGISTRATION
Little Acorns Community Playschool Registration night will be held in the Playschool on Thursday 6th  March from 7.30 – 8.30pm for the 2014/2015 year. ECCE places available, limited places available in our morning and afternoon sessions, catering for children age 2 years 6 months to 5 years, children must be toilet trained.
Our afterschool services are available throughout the school year, children are collected from both local national schools and are entertained after homework until our new opening hours of 6pm, snack provided. Enquires to Eileen 0539423871.

An Auction will be held in Askamore Hall on Saturday 1st  March at 2pm. Building materials DPC – damp proof course, expanded metal, rolls and sheets, selection of angle beads, radon sumps, selection of concrete lintels, selection of concrete window sills, chimney caps and chimney flu’s, angle blocks and bricks, also children’s table and chairs, a selection of household goods and much more. Viewing from 12 noon on day of Auction.

COMEDY NIGHT
A comedy night in aid of Shillelagh National School presents Ireland’s got Mammies, creator of Twitter Sensation @irishmammies and best-selling book “Isn’t it well for ye” The book of Irish Mammies by Colm O’Regan in Ballykealy Manor on Sunday 23rd March doors open at 7.30 show starts at 8pm sharp. Askamore Community Council are holding their AGM on Monday 3rd March.

CARD DRIVES
Card drives continue in Askamore on Monday nights 24th Lourdes Pilgrimage Trust, 3rd March Askamore child care.

FIRST RESPONDERS

The National First Responders Conference will take place on Saturday 1st March in the Tullamore Court Hotel.

TINAHLEY WALKING CLUB
The walk on Sunday 2nd March is in Askamore (grade B 10km) meet Tinahely Square at 10.30am, wear proper walking boots, bring adequate food and drink and pack or wear proper weather gear. Full walks available on Tinahely.ie website.
