The final day of the Hell and Back Trojan challenge took place in Kilruddery Estate, Bray today.

The 10km course is one of the toughest adventure races around. Participants must scale seven-foot walls, crawl under barbed wire and run through the “Shock of Horrors” — a gauntlet of dangling cattle prods.

The event also took place last Sunday attracting 2,900 competitors.

The Hell and Back Apollo will take place in Belmont Estate, Bray on June 14.
