Bingo

Bingo takes place in the Hollywood Centre every Thursday night at 8.30pm. We have two jackpots – €3,000 and €1,350 to play for each week.

Lotto

Our Lotto jackpot now stands at €5,400. Get your tickets for the next draw 13th February from the Hollywood Centre, Daly’s shop and local sellers.

Friendship Club

The Friendship Club meet every Wednesday in the Hollywood Centre from 2.15 – 4.15pm. All welcome.

“Salsa Cardio”

Keep fit classes (mixture of Latin moves that are easy to follow). No experience necessary. Classes will commence Wednesday February 19th and every Wednesday morning 10.30am – 11.20am

Community Alert Notice

It is advised that should anyone call regarding the installation of water metres, they should NOT need to enter your home as all work regarding this is done from outside. Please be vigilant.

Cake Sale

Hollywood National School Parents Association are hosting a Cake Sale in the Hollywood Community Centre following 6pm Mass on Saturday 15th February and after 8.30am and 11.30am Masses on Sunday 16th February.

All donations of cakes, breads or buns for the sale would be gratefully received and can be delivered to the Centre before Mass.  All funds raised go to Hollywood NS.  Thank you for supporting us.

Parent & Toddler Group

Hollywood Parent & Toddler Group meet every Thursday in The Hollywood Centre from 10am to 12noon, cost is €3 per family. Parents / carers can enjoy a chat & light refreshments while the little ones play! New members always welcome.

Concert

The Dublin Welsh Male Voice Choir together with local singers and musicians will present a Gala Choral evening in St. Kevin’s Church on Friday 28th February at 8pm in aid of Church renovations. Kare Sponsored Walk

The Kare Walk Day realized approximately €13,000 which was held to raise funds for a new bus to transport handicapped children to their special school. The organisers are very grateful for the wonderful response.

Official Opening

The official opening and blessing of the new extension to our school is planned for 4th April.

Drug Meeting

There will be a meeting later in the month to raise awareness of the worrying drug problem in the area. Please come and inform yourself. More details later.

Camogie

“Friends of Hollywood Camogie Club” are organising a Reunion & Dance for All – Supporters, Friends & Players (past & present) – on Fri 25 April in Hollywood GAA Clubhouse @ 8pm sharp. Music by ‘Eddie Davitt and the Quality Street Band’. GAA

Annual Race Night

The Annual Race Night is scheduled for Cheltenham Gold Cup Day on Friday March 14th 2014 at 9pm. Horses are now on sale from all players, please support and come along on the night to cheer home your selection!

Insurance Offer

Liberty Insurance will donate €50 to the Club when a new motor or home policy is taken out with Liberty and the ‘Policy Number’ is entered on www.libertygaa.ie. This is a great fundraising opportunity for the Club and we ask members of the community to input their policy number and details on the website if they get Liberty insurance.

Operation Transformation

Hollywood GAA Operation Transformation continues every Wednesday (7.30pm) and Saturday (10am) in the GAA Clubrooms. Open to everyone regardless of fitness and it isn’t too late to join in. All are welcome to come along and enjoy

Registration Night for Membership

Hollywood Club Registration Night for juvenile and required accompanying adult members is scheduled for Saturday 22ndFebruary in the GAA clubrooms at 7pm. Membership rates including family membership offers can be viewed onwww.hollywoodgaa.com.

The club had excellent membership for 2013 and we thank each of them for their support. Membership can now be paid through Paypal on www.hollywoodgaa.com for 2014.
