Wicklow weather have issued a yellow weather warning for this afternoon, as always keep away from cliffs, piers and exposed areas.
Sunny spells and well scattered showers this morning. Cloud will increase in the west. Becoming wet and windy as rain spreads northeastwards through the afternoon and early evening along with strong to gale force, gusty southerly winds, strongest in coastal areas. Highest temperatures 8 or 9 degrees.
The rain will clear Eastwards this evening and early tonight with clear periods and showers to follow. The showers will be heavy and prolonged overnight in the West with the risk of thunder. It will stay windy and winds will strengthen further in the West with gales and gusts to 100 km/hr in exposed parts. Lowest temperatures 3 to 6 degrees.
A risk of continued spot flooding in Sth Leinster, Munster over the coming 36hrs as rainfall spreads from the West (mid afternoon Monday) and by 6pm/7pm (Eastern areas). Overall we expect yet another unsettled week with windy conditions and sporadic heavy rainfalls.
