Avoca Annual Outing 2014
The destination this year is Co Clare on the 4th, 5th and 6th of July 2014. The total cost is €250 for 3 nights B&B with 3 dinners and transport included. €50 deposit is required before the 31st March 2014 with full payment required before 1stJune 2014. Avoca Recycling Centre accepts all types of Waste-Electrical and Electronic Equipment Free of charge. Items such as old Fridges, Televisions, Washing Machines are all accepted in fact if it ever had a plug or batteries then the Avoca Recycling Centre will take it from you.

Avoca GAA club are running their popular Cheltenham Mega Buster again this year in association with Fitzgeralds in Avoca. The event runs from March 11th to March 14th and during these four days Fitzgeralds Pub will be turned into a virtual bookies office. There will be a total of €775 given out in prizemoney with numerous other smaller prizes on different days. The entrance fee is €20 to be paid before Sunday March 9th to either Sean Warde 0872383430, Johnny Harper 08767143956 or Mick Fahy 0871372585. Selections for each days racing can be submitted to the above persons or by pre-arranged e-mail before the first race starts each day. Full results and leader board will be posted in Fitzgeralds Avoca and will also be available by e-mail. Anyone with an interest in horse racing should join in and enjoy the craic while at the same time giving support to the Avoca GAA Club.
