Information Evening: “Dementia is everybody’s business”

Nearly all of us have experience of dementia in our families and circle of
friends, yet the stigma of dementia remains. Understanding dementia and the
small things you can do to support people with dementia remain part of your
community can make a difference to people’s quality of live. Be dementia
aware by attending Wicklow Dementia Friendly information evening “Dementia
is Everybody’s Business” on Thursday, 6th March 2014, in Colaiste Bhride,
Carnew – Everybody welcome.

TINAHELY WALKING CLUB
On Sunday March 9 the walk is in Askamore (grade B, 10km), meeting in Tinahely Square at 10.30am. Please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear. Full walking schedule is on the Tinahely Website. (Walks beyond March 9 will be decided at next committee meeting. Watch these notes and website for further details.

HOPE CANCER SOCIETY

The Friends of Stephen Dee in association with the Hope Cancer Support Centre presents Remembering Stephen Dee.

The Talbot Hotel, Wexford Wednesday 12th March (Stephen Murphy & Tony Ryan House Band, The Madcaps, The Silent Mikes plus special guests).

The Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy Monday 24th March (Theresa & The Stars, The Madcaps, The Silent Mikes plus special guests).

Admission €10. Doors open 7.30 pm. Tickets on sale in the Hope Shop, Enniscorthy, The Talbot Hotel, Wexford, The Riverside Park Hotel, Enniscorthy and the Heritage Park, Wexford.
