Wicklow lost their second game on the bounce in Division 4 yesterday at Aughrim, losing to Leitrim 1-17 to 0-11.
The Garden County, who were without the suspended Leighton Glynn, were behind at half time, trailing 0-08 to 0-07.
Wicklow then missed a golden opportunity to take the lead early in the second half when a Paul Earls penalty came back off the post.
Ray Cox’s late goal applied the gloss to Leitrim’s nine-point triumph.
Elsewhere in the division London and Carlow both picked up their first wins of the campaign. London defeated Waterford by 2-10 to 0-9 in Carriganore.
