Daffodil Day Cuppa
Save the date …..Friday 28th March…that’s when this year’s Daffodil Day is taking place and you can be part of it by joining us for a Coffee Morning in the Courthouse Arts Centre, Tinahely. Coffee and Tea will be served from 10 a.m to 1 p.m.   All proceeds will benefit The Irish Cancer society. Thank you as always for your valued and wonderful support.

The Courthouse Arts Centre is delighted to present Finding Sympathy, a one act play from Ella Daly of Amalgamotion Theatre Company.
Finding Sympathy looks at the intricacies and delicate patterns of human relationships, objects, and the fragile mental barriers which we erect for ourselves.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATIONS
Friday 7 March – 8.30pm Theatre Performance ‘Finding Sympathy’
Let’s get the celebrations off to a great start by attending a short play with the added benefit of a Q&A session following the performance. The title is “Finding Sympathy” by Amalgamotion, an award winning Limerick group, in the Courthouse Arts Centre. Further details and tickets available from the Courthouse.
Saturday 8 March
All the women of the community are welcome to join members of TWN for a Coffee Morning at the Courthouse. 10.30am to 12 noon approx. Celebrations continue with an Evening of Singing and Entertainment by the TWN Choir, poetry readings and our friends in the ICA. Finger food is welcome and members may, if they wish, bring along their own beverage.

10th Birthday!
Tinahely CCE is celebrating its 10th Birthday! We have had a truly wonderful decade of traditional music and singing and to celebrate we will host a concert entitled ‘Mol an Óige’ in Tinahely Community Hall on Sat March 15th at 8pm. Everyone is most welcome to come along and enjoy the music and the chat. Cover charge is €5 per adult, children free. Tea and light refreshments will be served on the night.

Tinahely National School
K Factor Time. The parents association of Tinahely National School are holding the  K Factor karaoke competition on Sat 5th and Sat 12th April in Murphys Hotel Tinahely. Tinahely Walking Club
On Sunday March 9 the walk is in Askamore (grade B, 10km), meeting in Tinahely Square at 10.30am. Please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear. Full walking schedule is on the Tinahely Website. (Walks beyond March 9 will be decided at next committee meeting. Watch these notes and website for further details.)

Tinahely Young Voices is now up and running and we are looking for more young people to get involved.
Classes take place every Friday at 4.30 at the Courthouse.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TINAHELY WOMENS’ CHOIR

On and from 5th February the choir will meet in the Courthouse Arts Centre, Tinahely for weekly practice sessions.  Doors open from 9.30 for social chat and rehearsals will commence at 10 a.m. sharp.  New members welcome.
