Supported by Wicklow County Enterprise Board, Joshua has set up ‘Connect Shade’, a portable sunshade that uses solar energy to charge mobile devices when you’re away from a conventional power source. ‘Connect Shade’ is a finalist in the Intermediate Category of the National Finals.
Since September, a record-breaking 17,000 students from 370 schools have researched, set up and managed their own businesses as part of the biggest student enterprise programme in the country. For more details about the programme, visit www.studententerprise.ie.
