Organisers of the Good Friday event being held in the grounds of Avondale House have assured local residents that there will be no trouble in the area.
According to the organisers, the Barn Dance festival is a fully licensed and strictly over 21’s event that has been running for the past six years.
“The event has always been a secret location so the only access for non-local attendees is by being privately transported directly to and from the venue, which makes it a self-contained event with minimal disruption to local area,” they said.
The organisers’ plans have been overseen by Wicklow Gardai and Wicklow Fire Officers and a license was issued based on their approvals.
“This is all to insure the event would run as smoothly as all other events have and continue to grow on the Barn Dance flawless track record. We welcome local residents to get in touch through our website www.barndance.ie with any other queries relating to this event.”
