TINAHELY WALKING CLUB
On Sunday May 11 the walk is Mullinacor Loop (grade B, 15k /3.5 hours approx), meeting in Tinahely Square at 10.00am. Details of walks for the next two months will be decided shortly. Please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear. NEWSPAPER RECYCLING
Newspapers can now be recycled at the back of Candy’s Carnew St Vincent De Paul will benefit from this.
ROAD RUN
Carnew Heritage clubs annual road run will take place on Sunday 18th May at 12 noon from Carnew mart all cars, slow and fast tractors welcome, all proceeds towards South East Cancer Trust.

TABLE QUIZ
Jim and Ann Gilbert will be holding a table quiz to help to bring Dennis home from Chernobyl this summer in Askamore Community Centre on Sunday 18th May at 8pm, table of four €40., all support would be greatly appreciated.

FEILE
Congratulations and well done to our under 14’s who won the feile last Wednesday night against Bray Emmetts and will represent their club and County in the Feile in June. Well done to all.

STRICTLY COME DANCING
This year Carnew Emmets GAA club are doing Strictly come Dancing with their neighbours Askamore/Kilrush, so if you fancy yourself as the next Fred Astair or Ginger Rogers then dust  off your dancing shoes and get practicing as there will be a rigorous audition process.
