Election Update 2014

The latest tally figures show that newcomer Pat Kennedy is going very well in the Arklow area. With 44% of the boxes opened Kennedy has 25.68% of the vote.

It looks to be a strong Fianna Fail vote in the area with Pat Fitzgerald also showing up strong. Fine Gael’s Sylvester Bourke is also showing up well with 12.89% of the vote.

In Wicklow, 34% of the boxes have been opened, Sinn Fein’s John Snell is polling well with 14.87% of the vote along with Irene Winters who has 10.80% of the vote. Newcomer Daire Nolan is also going well with 10.88% of the vote.

In Bray, 26% of the boxes have been opened. Independent Joe Behan is going well with 14.58% of the vote. John Brady is also doing well with 10.61%. It looks likely at this stage that Chris Fox will top the poll. He is currently on 18.9% of the vote.

In Greystones, 62% of the boxes have been opened. Tom Fortune is on 16.32% of the vote. At this early stage it looks like Independent Jennifer Whitmore will top the poll, she currently has 26.29% of the vote.

In Baltinglass, 22% of the boxes have been opened. Cullen,Ruttle and Timmins are all going well.
