32 counties in 24 hours for charity

Three primary school teachers based in Bray returned to Wicklow on Monday after completing a unique fund raising mission.

The teachers from  St Peter’s Primary School traveled to the 32 counties of Ireland in a 24-hour period and uploaded a picture from each county to Twitter.

Patrick Kinsella, Dave Foley and Patrick Mullen traveled around the country to raise money for vital equipment for the school.

They began the road-trip in Bray, they also uploaded photographs of themselves posing next to each county’s welcome sign, to prove that they had visited each county.

As well as getting parents to raise sponsorship, they also got local Wicklow businesses to sponsor a picture in each county, in what was a novel way to raise money for the school.
