The club would like to congratulate Robert Lambert on another sterling performance in goal for Wicklow as they defeated Offaly in Aughrim on Saturday last. The club would like to thank Avoca GAA for their invitation to play in this year’s Brian Culleton Memorial Cup. Aughrim progressed to the final after defeating AGB in the semies by 2 points. The final was played on Sunday against Avoca in the blistering sun and heat but this didn’t take away from the high pace at which this final was played. Avoca won the game and the Cup on a score line of 3-12 to 1-12.
