CARNEW ACTIVE SCHOOLS
Carnew National School enjoyed a fun filled week of sporting activities last week as part of their Active Schools Week, Gaelic games, soccer, zumba, tennis, gymnastics and circuit training were some of the features of a jam packed week. Some parents joined in for the 1km run challenge as well. The week was the culmination of a busy year of sport and activities for the children of the school. Many thanks to our coaches, trainers and teachers who made the week such a success and fun for the children. The school hopes to raise the Active Schools Flag in the near future as a sign of it’s commitment to providing healthy exercise and activities for its pupils.
