A DART travelling between Greystones and Bray derailed on Tuesday night.
The 11.10pm from Graystones to Connolly station train was travelling north when it left the tracks.
It is understood that a rock fall including large boulders along Bray Head caused the train to derail.
There were 33 passengers on the train at the time of the incident but none were injured.
Due to tonight’s incident there will be no trains between Greystones and Bray in the morning.
For morning services, Dublin Bus will accept rail tickets for customers travelling to/from Greystones. Bus transfers will also be arranged for Rosslare/Dublin Intercity and Wexford/Wicklow/Dublin commuter services.
Iarnród Éireann said they apologise for the inconvenience caused.
