Festival time is in full swing in the garden county, up to 100,000 people expected at Bray air display, a Manchester United IX also visit Bray this afternoon.
To facilitate events, Strand Rd, Bray will be closed from 12pm to 7pm between the jcts of Seapoint Rd and Newcourt Rd. Keep in mind that there is limited public pay parking along the seafront and visitors are encouraged to use public transport.
Parking restrictions are in place until 7pm on Seapoint Rd, Putland Rd (from Strand Rd to Sidmonton Rd), Meath Rd (from Putland Rd to Convent Ave) and on Convent Ave (from Sidmonton Rd to Meath Rd).
If travelling to Bray from the M50 onto the M11 Dublin/ Wexford Rd southbound, motorists will be directed to exit at J7 Bray South on the M11.
If travelling northbound to Bray on the Greystones/ Bray Rd (R761) or Killarney Rd (R767), motorists are advised to follow the signage which will be in place.
Wicklow weather predict a dry day for the Bray area, feeling warm and humid with temps in the low 20’s. Spells of broken sunshine could make temps feel like 23c. A lowered risk of sea fog today but it cannot be ruled out.
