Could we be set for an Indian summer?

It might be miserable outside this morning but it could be a bit premature to put away the sun cream just yet.

According to Aughrim based forecaster, Wicklow Weather, temperatures are set to hit a very pleasant 22c next week.

It won’t be all unbroken sunshine and the forecaster has said that ‘intermittent rain’ is also possible during the course of the week.

However, there is a potential fly in the ointment in the shape of Hurricane Cristobal, which could potentially track close to Ireland next week.

Latest guidance from the US based Hurricane Centre shows the system moving in NE direction towards Iceland by mid next week.

Wicklow Weather first hinted at the possibility of an Indian Summer in mid August.
