U10 Boys
Well done to all the U10 boy’s who took part in the Castletown indoor tournament on Saturday the 11th of October. The two matches against Castletown and Craanford were played at an incredible pace and intensity. Niall Dempsey was excellent in goal making some incredible saves. Conor Gahan, Cormac Ward, Adam Mulervey and Conor Hannon all hunted in packs and put in some powerful tackles and blocks in defence. They were a great platform for the forwards. In midfield, Darragh Furlong and Oran Dunning put in a great workrate and set the intensity of the game. They controlled the middle extremely well in both games and made some cutting runs and passes throughout. In the forwards Tiernan Gahan, Killian Brehanay, Sean Murphy, Dean Farrell, and Sean McCarty all played really well. They created some excellent opportunities throughout the game. Dean had probably his best game this year and is one for the future for Wicklow. A special mention to Killian who was in the “Bernard Brogan” mode today creating some excellent opportunities, another player to watch for the future for Wicklow. AGB are out next on Saturday the 25th.

Wicklow County Board recently launched the Player Pathway. A copy will be sent to all coaches in the coming weeks.
