Public Alert: Boil Water Notice
Part of Wicklow Regional Public Water Supply fed from Mariner’s Point Reservoir. Wicklow Town

It has come to the attention of Irish Water and Wicklow County Council that the part of the Wicklow Regional Public Supply fed from the Mariner’s Point Service may be contaminated. On the advice of the Health Service Executive and as a precautionary measure pending further investigation, a boil water notice is being issued. Accordingly, in the interest of public health, it is that all users fed from the Mariner’s Point Service Reservoir
boil water before use.

Water must be boiled for:
– Drinking
– Drinks made with water
– Preparation of salads and similar foods, which are not cooked prior to eating
– Brushing of teeth
– Making of ice

Remember to boil water as advised until further notice

This notice does not apply to other areas of the Wicklow Regional Public Water Supply in Wicklow Town, Rathnew Village, Ashford Village and Glenealy Village in Co.Wicklow
