11 couples are busy practising and raising funds for the Strictly Come Dancing which will be held on 15th November in the Ashdown Hotel Gorey and the final on 22nd in The Amber Springs Hotel, the couples are Majella and Jimmy, Christine and Niall, Yvonne and Vinnie, James and Anne Marie, Maire and Seamus, Laura and Dinny, John and Erica, Sue and Mick, Kevin and Nuala, Ella and Neill, Mary and Paul. Well done to all the couples involved and the very best of luck.

A live mouse race will take place on 7th November at 9pm in McCrea’s bar, Carnew, come along for some craic with music and dancing on the night in aid of Laura and Dinny’s Strictly Come Dancing fund.

Our end-of-season Presentation Night will be held on Sunday, November 2, in Kenny’s Pint Depot from 5pm-7pm. Medals will be presented to our juvenile players after a great year on the pitch.
On Sunday Nov 2 the walk is Avondale & Rathdrum loop (grade C, 12km/3 hours approx), meeting in Tinahely Square at 10.30am. On Sunday Nov 9 the walk is at Annagh Hill (grade B, 9km/2.5 hours approx), meeting in Tinahely Square at 11.00am. Please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear. Full walking schedule is on the Tinahely Website.
Halloween is almost here! The courthouse Arts Centre, Tinahely will be getting into the Halloween spirit with a fun and spook-tacular coffee morning on Friday 31st October , 10 a.m. – 1p.m.
The place will be transformed into a Halloween haven with decorations. Most definitely a must see!
Come to the Courthouse for a cuppa, delicious home-made cake and a fun Halloween experience. Halloween attire is optional. Everyone is welcome! Thank you, as always for your generous and wonderful support.

Liam Lawton. Also featuring Denise Brennan’s ‘Voiceworks Childrens Choir’ and Lambert Sisters Harpists. Proceeds shared by St. Kevin’s Church and APA Aids Partnership with Africa.
