MASS OF REMEMBRANCE
Our Annual Mass of Remembrance – Service of Light will be on Saturday 1st November at 6.30pm. This Mass is for Parishioners who died between 15th September 2013 and 14th September 2014 and whose funerals took place from either Roundwood or Moneystown Church. There is a Remembrance Mass on the last weekend of February, 2015 for Parishioners/Former Parishioners whose funerals took place in other Parishes.

Set dancing in Kavanagh’s lounge every Thursday night with live music for the rest of this month and October with Michael and Brian. Session from 9pm until 11pm. PARISH PUNCH UP
A big date for your diaries, November 15th, Kilmac return to Áras an Tóchar in an attempt to retain their ‘Parishes Punch Up’ crown. After some extremely tough training both clubs are now ready to rumble. An Tóchar have some tough, classy and extremely pretty boxers (Liam Kenna and Roisín Langrell) on display this year so please come along and give them your support in what promises to be a brilliant night of entertainment. COMMUNITY COUNCIL AGM
The Annual General Meeting of the Roundwood & District Community Council will take place on Monday 10th of Novemer at 8pm in the Old School. Please come along to check out what the Community Council does and to find out what is going on in the area. There will be representatives from the local Gardaí, Wicklow Co Co elected members and other community groups. If you have any issues or suggestions for the area now is the time to air them. KILMAC HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Kilmacanogue Historical Society will host Jeff Kildea in The Glenview Hotel, Glen of the Downs at 8.30PM on Tuesday 4th November, who is the Keith Cameron Professor of Australian History at University College Dublin and an adjunct at the Global Irish Studies Centre at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. He is the author of Anzacs and Ireland (Cork UP,2007), a study of the relationship between Australian soldiers and Ireland during the First World War. He is currently compiling a database of all the Irish-born who served in the Australian forces during the war, which will be available on line. Entry €3 (€2 for members) – all welcome.
