Warning for motorists after storm

Widespread wet conditions following heavy rain overnight. Motorists are advised to slow down and take extra care. Excess surface water and wind blown debris are likely to be a problem on secondary roads in particular.

Only drive through water if you know it’s not too deep for your car. If you have to drive through standing water, drive through the centre of the road as that is the highest point.
