CAROL SERVICE
The annual carol service will be held on 12th December in All Saints Church Carnew.

WHIST DRIVE
All Saints N.S. are holding their whist drive on Saturday 29th November at 8.30pm in Colaiste Bhride Carnew with valuable prizes, fun and refreshments, all welcome.

MASS
A mass for deceased members of Carnew GAA club will be held on Monday 3rd December at 7.30pm in Carnew.

FORGET ME NOT CHRISTMAS TREE
The annual Christmas tree will be in Askamore Church with mass celebrated on 21st December at 11am, Christmas baubles are on sale from Askamore Childcare Centre or staff which cost €3 each or two for €5. you can remembered all your loved ones whether they are sick, in hospital, abroad, etc.

STRICTLY COME DANCING
Congratulations and well done to all who took part in the Strictly Come Dancing last Saturday night in The Amber Springs Hotel Gorey, to anyone who helped in anyway but especially all the dancers who took to the stage and put in a big effort over the last number of weeks, what a great night it was, well done to Anne Marie and James, Geraldine and John, Mary and Paul, Joan and Tom, Maire and Seamus, Mary and Alan, Erica and John, Anna and Alan, Yvonne and Vinny, Paula and Jamie, Laura and Dinny, Renate and Eamonn. Yvonne and Vinny and Paula and Jamie made it to the final dance off and the winners were Yvonne and Vinny representing Carnew. Well done all.

CHRISTMAS MARKET
A christmas market will be held in Askamore Hall on Sunday 30th November from 12 noon with jewellery, arts and crafts, mulled wine and festive pies, santa and much much more, all welcome.

An indoor market will be held on this Thursday 27th from 6pm in Parkview House Shillelagh with loads of christmas gifts, so please come along and pick up some gifts.
MUSICAL
Carnew Musical Society’s production of A Christmas Carol will continue until Saturday night in St Bridgets Hall Carnew at 8pm booking is advisable.

Concert
Join us for a special evening of music and song in St. Kevin’s Church Kilaveney, Tinahely on Friday 28th November – 8p.m. Tickets €10 available from Murphy’s Butchers Shop Tinahely and Parish Pastoral Council Committee. Thank you as always for your generous and valued support.

TINAHELY WALKING CLUB
On Sunday Nov 30 the is Keadeen-Sliabh Reagh (Grade B, 11km, 3 hours approx) meeting in Tinahely square at 10.30pm. On Sunday Dec 7 the walk is the Railway/Garryhoe walk (Grade C, 2.5 hours) meeting in Tinahely Square at 10.30am. Please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear. (Walk grades: A is the hardest and C is the easiest – depends on gradient and duration.) Full walking schedule is on the Tinahely Website.

CARD DRIVES
The 45 card drives continues in Askamore on Monday nights with Ballyconran/Brideswell on 24th, Ballyellis/Burrows 1st December, Castlewhite/Drummond 8th Donishal/Boilirus 15th, all welcome.

Tomacork Parish Council would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported or attended their annual get together on 14th November, to Michael and Martina for the music, a great night was had by all.
