More wet weather on the way

It looks like we could be in for a wet and windy 24 hours as Wicklow Weather have issued a weather warning that could stretch into Thursday.

The Aughrim based forecaster has said that a band of heavy rainfall, which is already moving over Munster, could reach the County by this afternoon.

The rain will be heavy in places and could lead to flooding, especially where drains are already blocked from falling leaves. There is also a slight to moderate risk of  swollen rivers causing flood issues today and Thursday.

Another band of heavy rain is also expected for Friday.
