Wicklow Weather predict a very fine line between rain and snow even at lower levels this afternoon, tonight and again tomorrow. As per our update last night its a 50/50 for mid to Nth Leinster, Nth Munster, Connacht, Ulster.
Minor accumulations up to 5cm could occur at lower levels. Heavy snow expected across uplands and higher elevations nationwide within the coming 36hrs (350m asl).
A slight change to dew point temps of 1c is as fine a line you can get.
Take great care across all upland areas of Ireland 350m+ with heavy snowfalls, fog and very low visibility expected over the coming 36hrs.
Please wear appropriate clothing and footware and if your not used to such conditions please avoid walking and hiking above 350m today, tomorrow and over the weekend.
