SALE OF WORK RAFFLE RESULTS

VARIETY MUSICAL VOUCHERS

Roundwood Variety Group are delighted to announce that they will be selling vouchers for their upcoming musical The Ugly Duckling which will take place from Thursday 29th January to Sunday 1st February.  Vouchers can be bought for Christmas presents and then exchanged for tickets when they go on sale in early January.  To purchase your voucher please ring 086 8287858.


STORY TELLING NIGHT

There will be a story telling variety night in Annamoe Centre on this Friday the 12th Dec at 8 0clock.  All are welcome.

 

FLOWER ARRANGING

A Christmas themed flower arranging class for children will take place on Saturday 13th of December in Roundwood Old School. There are a limited of places available. This course is organised by the Roundwood and District Community Council.

 

PARISH HALL DANCE

Come and join The Wicklow Man on Friday the 19th oof December at 9pm in Roundwood Parish Hall.  In aid of the local Active Retirement Group, refreshments and raffle on the night please come along and show your support

 

LUNCH CLUB

A reminder that the Active Retirement Christmas Lunch will take place on Friday 12th December in The Roundwood Inn at 1.30

 

LOTTO WINNER

Congratulations to Eugene Shortt who scooped last weeks lotto jackpot of €15,500.  The numbers drawn were 10, 13, 14 &17.  There were three match three winners, Maureen Cullen, Terry Jnr & Mary Margaret Molloy.  Next weeks jackpot will be, €5,000

 

DIAMOND BRIDGE CLUB

Taking 1st place for North/South on Monday 1st December were Brid Clancy and Bridie Nolan 2nd Nancy O Brien and Monica Brady 3rd Kay Plunkett and Clare Sally, 4th Mary Pierce and Maura Gaskin.  1st for East/West Ger Lenihan and Paddy O Brien, 2nd Pamela and Margaret Byrne, 3rd Catherine Mcgillycuddy and Catherine Halligan, 4th Molly Byrne and Rachel Judd.  Members please note presentation for prizes will be Monday 15th December.

 

002 BRIDGE CLUB

Monica Brady, June Digby, Noeleen Redmond and Margaret Bolger shared 1st/2nd place for North/South  on Friday 5th December, 3rd Kitty Heslin and Triona Woodroofe, 4th Nancy O Brien and Catherine McGillycuddy. East/West victors were Gertie Fee and Jane Cronin, 2nd Paddy O Brien and Ger Lenihan , 3rd Marian Davis and Liz Belton and 4th Molly and Margaret Byrne.  Prize giving will be on Friday 12th December

 

SET DANCE CLASS 

Set dancing classes continue on Wednesday nights in The Mill Room, Kilcoole .  Classes for all levels.

 

MONEYSTOWN DANCE

The wicklow man will play in Moneystown Community Centre on Friday 12th December from 9.30 to 12. Teas and mince pies, door prizes, refreshments also available. Come along and enjoy a night of waltzing, jive etc. Our new years dance takes place on Fri 9th ,January with music by The Wicklow Man.

 

SHRINES OF FRANCE

A trip to the shrines of France will take place from 11th to 18th April, 2015 for seven nights, visiting Lourdes, Rocamadour, Nevers, Paris and Lisieux.  The total cost is €799 per person sharing.  Details are in the church porch.  Deposit of €200 should be paid as soon as possible and the balance of the oney before 1st February, 2015.  For more details please contact Susan O’Neill a t 0404 45276 after 8pm.

SET DANCING

Set dancing in Kavanagh’s lounge every Thursday night with live music for the rest of this month and October with Michael and Brian. Session from 9pm until 11pm. Visitors to the area and beginners are always welcome. If you would like a quick lesson on the steps before the session begins just give Sheila a call on 087 2121522.

 

ANGEL HEALING

Angel Healing takes place every Monday night at 7.30 in the Parish Center, Roundwood Village. It is non denominational. Come along, to a night of Meditation ,Relaxation and Spiritual connection, . For more information contact Mary 087 9819420

SECOND HAND BOOKS FOR SALE

Second Hand Books now on sale in the Parish Hall. All proceeds go towards the Parish Hall Fund. Huge variety available. We will gratefully accept all donations of books to help our cause
