GAA News

The first weigh in for the upcoming boxing challenge between ourselves and Knockananna  was held in the Wagon Wheels last Saturday night. Close to twenty young potential fighters from Aughrim took part in the initial weigh in, including several talented female contenders. Serious training will soon start for this group in preparation for the contest itself which will take place on March 7th next.. This will be one of our main fund raisers for the coming year and we hope it will be well supported by all.   The club would like to extend its deepest sympathy to Pat Bracken on the death of his sister Margaret Sunderland RIP.
