An Tóchar GAA club notes February 2

Ladies Football – The good news is we have over 25  ladies interested in playing for our team this year. If you’re one of those interested, don’t be shy – the lights are on at the pitch every Tuesday evening – come over and start getting the lungs ready for the training which will kick off soon.We are now on the hunt for someone to manage this team. Parishes Punch Up– The long awaited rematch with our neighbours Kilmac is now only weeks away- keep Sat 28th Feb free ! Tickets are €20 and on sale already in Justine’s shop, from any boxer or from Ollie Byrne (086 8276867), Noel Brady (086 8043385), Nick Nolan (086 8516254) & Gary McGillycuddy (086 8729927)
Doors open at 6pm, first fight @ 7pm. Keep an eye on our website for further updates.

 

New Appointments– Child Welfare Officer – Anne King has big shoes to fill but we’re delighted to have her on board.

Ladies Chair – Only a few months after giving our Ladies Section a third player Shane and Roisin Langrell have teamed up to do Ladies chair and secretary respectively. Good luck to you both.

Intermediate Manager – Michael Kinsella an Liam Kenna have hit the ground running with great attendances so far at their first training sessions. We all need to get behind them as getting back to Senior gets more difficult each year with 3 teams coming down again this year from Senior.

Junior Manager –  A big announcement to made in the coming days – stay tuned !!
