St PAT’S Football Club would like to thank everyone who has donated clothes to the clothes bank at Avoca Recycling Centre. From money received from last donations we were able to buy a set of jerseys for our U-15 team. We would like to thank Mylie and staff and Wicklow County Council for allowing us to have the clothes bank. Your continued support would be gratefully appreciated as donations also go to Rathdrum Cancer Support and Wicklow Hospice. Avoca Community Play Group

Mothers & Toddlers every Friday from 10am to 12noon

€3 per adult which includes coffee & biscuits 

 

Avoca Bingo 

Bingo is held weekly in Avoca Community Hall on Wednesday evenings from 8.30pm. The jackpot for this week is €3,000, All are welcome!

Ballycoog ICA Guild

Ballycoog ICA will perform their one act winning play in Ballycoog Hall on Friday 20th Feb at 8pm, this is back by popular demand and it is a laugh from start to finish, on the night we will be joined by a young lady with a beautiful voice, a Ballad Group and a group performing a sketch. A good nights entertainment for all the family, admission is €5 including Tea, children are free. Hope to see you all there.

 

Avoca Active Retirement

Avoca Active Retirement are having a members meeting on Thursday 12th March at 2pm in the hall. Please try to attend the meeting, if possible. The next tea dance will be on Sunday the 29th March from 3-6pm, music provided by The Wicklow Man. For more details call 087 1334590.

 

Scrap Metal Appeal

If you are doing Spring Cleaning or have anything from a saucepan to an engine, we, the Kilmagig Graveyard Committee, would be delighted to hear from you as we are doing a scrap metal appeal in conjunction with the Avoca Recycling Bank. All proceeds are going towards the maintenance and restoration of Kilmagig Graveyard.
