Sincere sympathy is extended to Pat Brennan, Ballingate his family and relatives on the death of his brother Peter in Sligo recently.
To the family and relatives of Larry Kinsella, Foxcover, Monaseed who died during the weekend his remains were removed to Monaseed on Sunday evening and burial took place on Monday after 11am mass.
TINAHELY WALKING CLUB
On Sun Feb 8 the walk is in the Clonegal area (Grade C, 10-12, 2.5 hours approx) meeting in Tinahely Square at 10.30am. On Sunday Feb 15 the walk is the Mullinacor loop near Glenmalure (Grade B, 14km, 3.5 hours) meeting in Tinahely Square at 10.00am. Please ensure to wear proper walking boots, to bring adequate food & drink and to pack (or wear) rain gear. (Walk grades: A is the hardest and C is the easiest – depends on gradient and duration.) Full walking schedule is on the Tinahely Website.
Can you spare a morning or afternoon a week. We are looking for people to take on the role of Activity Pals in Carnew Community Care. As an Activity Pal you will support a person with memory problems to participate in the Centre’s social activities.
Volunteers will receive training and support for the role.

Carnew camogie club
Registration night, Friday, 6th feb, 7-8pm in clubhouse at sportsfield. Spread the word for new and old players, get registered in time for the new season.
Fees for underage is as follows €25 for single player; €40 for 2 sisters; & €60 for family of 3 plus.
Also upcoming fund raiser of a race night in February. Please support cards on sale now from players and committee.
‘The Goal Mile held on New Year’s Day 2015 in Tinahely raised €605. Thank you to everyone who participated and we look forward to seeing next year!

CARNEW ST PATRICKS DAY PARADE
