Sale agreed on Wicklow home at centre of family inheritance row

East Coast FM report a Wicklow mother who spent a total of 7 months in Mountjoy prison in a family row over her home, has handed back the property.

Eileen Gunning agreed to hand over Chrysanthemum Cottage in Greystones, following a bitter family inheritance row which began five years ago.

She was jailed twice for contempt of court for refusing to leave the premises.

According to the report, the 61 year old purged her contempt last November and a sale agreed has now been reached on the cottage.
