Bray Wanderers will play in the upcoming Airtricity League Premier Division season after the Seagulls were granted a licence this evening.
A statement from the licensing committee confirmed that Wanderers, Cobh Ramblers and Athlone Town were all issued with licences after resubmitting the required documentation requested last week.
“The Independent Club Licensing Committee met this evening to consider further information submitted by Athlone Town FC, Bray Wanderers FC and Cobh Ramblers FC
“The Committee has subsequently awarded a Premier Division licence to Bray Wanders and a First Division licence to Athlone Town FC and Cobh Ramblers FC.”
The new season will kick off on Friday 6th March with Bray welcoming Drogheda United to the Carlisle Grounds.
