Support Daffodil Day!

Save the date!…Friday 27th March is Daffodil Day. You can be part of this Daffodil Day appeal by joining us for a Coffee Morning in the Courthouse Arts Centre, Tinahely 10 a.m – 1 p.m. Daffodil Day is the Irish Cancer Society’s annual fundraising campaign. There will be a Whist Drive in The Pariocal Hall , Tinahely on Thursday March 12 starting at 8-30 pm

Gaa Lotto

Results for March 2. No jackpot winner. Numbers drawn 6-7-11-21. Match 3 winners. Killian Rheinisch, Tinahely; M.J. Draw held in Saltee on Monday night March 9.

Whist Drive

There will be a whist drive in Annacurra Community Centre on Saturday night next March 14 . starting at 9pm

45 Card Game

45 card game on next Friday night, March 13, in Annacurra Community Centre, starting at 8-30pm.

Badminton

Last Friday was the last practice of the season for Annacurra Badminton Club juveniles. Attendance improved as did the players throughout the season. Congratulations to the two teams of u13 boys who competed in Roundwood last Saturday and did the club proud bringing home several trophies. Also congratulations to Emma Doyle, our u15 girl who was part of the winning team . A big thank you goes to their coach Andrew Doyle,who encouraged and coached and refereed all year. See you all in the Autumn!

Gaa

Annacurra Gaa club are holding a Mouse Race night on Saturday March 28 in The Saltee at 8pm. This race night will feature real live Mice, Prize money €250 euro.

You can buy your mouse or mice from players or any committee member. Raffle also on the night.

Community Games

 Athletic training continuing every Monday at 7pm in the Community complex and field. The schools are busy getting the Art and Handwriting judged for the County Wicklow Finals and appreciation must go to the teachers and Principals in both schools for their continued support.

The club will be taking part in the Aughrim St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Meeting place at Tinakilly Bridge at 10pm and flags and singlets will be giving to participating children. We hope for a lovely bright Spring day and plenty of support.

There will be a cross country event taking place on Monday 30th in the Rathdrum rugby club and it will be run by Rathdrum Community Games and we would like to see as many children entered. More details to follow.
