‘Tinahely Tri Club proudly announce their 4th Annual Duathlon on Sun 3rd May 2015. Local participants of all abilities are warmly welcomed to compete. Distances are: 5km run ,20km cycle and 3km run. Further details on how to register can be found on our Facebook Page.’
The boys and girls of feile are holding a bingo on Sunday 12th April at 3pm in St Brigid’s Hall, Carnew, all support greatly appreciated.
The next monthly bingo for the hall is on May 2nd at 8.15pm. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Carnew Community Care is running a Mindfullness course starting on 13th April from to 2- 4pm for 6 weeks costing €10 per session, to book a place contact 0539426510.
Sincere sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Billy Tutty, Ballinasloe, Galway and formely of Carnew who died during the week.
Kilrush Drama group will present their production of Poor Beast in the Rain by Billy Roche in St Brigid’s Hall, Carnew on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th April at 8.30pm prior to them appearing in the All Ireland Confined Drama finals in Kilmuckridge, admission is €10.
Scoil Aodan Naofa Carnew are holding a fashion show on Thursday 30th April in St. Brigid’s Hall, Carnew at 8pm, doors open at 7.30pm, fashions are by Deirdre Minogue Rathwood, Finnesse Carnew, Skyfall, Gorey, Fifth Avenue, Thirty Fourth and Kool Kids Gorey, Poppy pipsqueak Boutique, Carnew, tickets €10 from Anne Marie 0872070595 or Sabrina 0876740487.

Carnew First Responders would like to say a big thank you to everyone for their sponsorship for their walk on 30th March, to all who donated items for the hampers,to the GAA, the school and kitchen staff for the use of their premises, all who walked with them, many thanks.
