Hollywood Whist

Hollywood Whist takes place next Monday night 27th April at 8.30pm . New players are more than welcome to come along

 

Hollywood National School

Hollywood National School Parents Association are holding a clothes recycling drive on Wed 22nd & Thurs 23rd April and would love if you could donate all your unwanted clothes, shoes, belts, handbags, textiles, soft toys and mobile phones (in a separate bag).

Items can be dropped to the school hall on Wed 22nd & Thurs 23rd April at school opening and closing times and also before 9.30am on Fri 24th April.

All proceeds go to Hollywood National School. Thank you for your support.

 

Hollywood Fair Booklet

The Hollywood Fair takes place this year from 12th to 16th August.  As in previous years a Hollywood Fair book will be published to coincide with the event.   Anyone who would like to contribute an article or photographs for inclusion in this year’s book should get in touch with Johnny Glennon at 087/2373023 or email him at [email protected] as soon as possible.

 

Hollywood GAA Lotto Draw

Hollywood GAA Lotto Draw that took place last Thursday.

There was no winner , numbers drawn were The €50 Draw winners were Kevin Traynor, Keith Burke & Jim Toomey

The Jackpot increases to €3800, make sure that you get your tickets early.

Next  Draw takes place in the Hollywood Inn on Thursday 30th April

                                                                   

Birthday Parties

The Hollywood Centre is available for your child’s special day. We cater for all types for Birthday parties.

Bingo

Bingo takes place in the Hollywood Centre every Thursday night at 8.30pm.

We have two jackpots – €3,000 and €2900 to play for each week.

 

Hollywood Tidy Towns

As part of National Spring Clean, Hollywood Tidy towns have a spring clean up on Saturday 18th April.

Anyone interested in cleaning up the village , please come along to the Church car park at 10am.

 

Back to Badminton

Rathmore Badminton Club is holding an open night to encourage those who used to play (at school, college or elsewhere) back to playing badminton once again. We are also encouraging beginners to come along and try it out. Racquets and shuttles will be available, so just come with a pair of trainers.

Numbers permitting, we are planning to run summer badminton sessions on Wednesday nights to get people ready for the new  season starting in September.

It’s a good way to get fit in a social friendly environment. All over 16s welcome men and ladies.

Friendship Club

Friendship Club takes place every Wednesday from 2.15-4.15pm. Always an open door and a welcome to all, a chat, a game of cards, bingo and a cuppa.
