Two men have died in a light aircraft crash on the Carlow-Wexford border close to Mount Leinster.
The men, one in his 50’s and one in his 60’s were both from Co.Meath.
The plane left an airfield close to Athboy in Co.Meath this morning and was heading for Wexford.
The plane crashed in the early afternoon in perfect weather conditions.
There were no reports of any distress signal being sent out before the accident.
A hill walker reported the crash to gardaí shortly after 2pm.
