Congratulations to St Kevin’s Community College Careers Guidance Teacher Eithne Cadogan on her retirement . May she have many happy years of enjoyment.

Prize Winner
The winner of the Arts Festival Voucher for a meal for two in Rathsallagh House was Aine Dunne. Thanks to Rathsallagh for their kind sponsorship and to everyone who entered their Email address.

Donoughmore Fete
Donoughmore FETE and Sports Day will take place on Monday, 3 August
Starting at 1.15pm. with Children’s Football Matches. Races and Sports at 2.15pm. Mini Auction at 4pm followed by the draw for this year’s Raffle.
Attractions include Horse and Carriage Rides, Kids Zone, Giraffe Bouncy Castle, Rock Climbing Obstacle Course, Hook the Duck, Wet Sponge Challenge, Hoopla, Hit the Can, Skittles, Splat the Rat, Clock Golf and more. Enjoy some tasty Bun Burgers and Sausages, Afternoon Teas, Ice Creams and Minerals.
Stalls include Toys, Books, White Elephant/Household Goods, Cakes, Plants, Bottle Stall.
Admission – Adults €2, Children FREE and Parking FREE. A Fun day out for all the family!

Sympathy
Sympathy is extended to Karen & Dave O’ Shaughnessy (Friar Hill) on the recent death of Karen’s mother Teresa Noone. Teresa’s funeral took place in Naas. May Teresa rest in peace.
Paralympics.

Congratulations to Helen Kearney and the all the members of the Irish para-equestrian team who competed in para dressage at the recent Hartpury Dressage Festival in Gloucestershire, England. The competition was a qualifier for the Paralympics which is due to take place in Rio De Janeiro in September 2016.Helen was particularly pleased with her score in the team and individual competition of 70% on her new horse Rock and Roll 2. Helen just got this horse earlier this year and plans to continue training him over the summer months.
Mac and Norman Rally
The annual Mac and Norman vintage rally takes place on August 16th. This is the 13th year of the rally and all funds go to cancer Research.

Next outing Mt Juliet on Sunday August 2nd Captain’s Day

Graveyard Mass
This year the annual cemetery Mass and blessing of the graves will take place on Sunday August 23rd at 7pm. Please spread the word to families who have moved away from the area.
