Build your own wind Turbine Course
A build your own wind turbine course will take place in Camphill Community Grangebeg from Saturday August 22nd to 27th. This is a hands on opportunity for course participants to build a working “ Hugh Piggott” design windmill. The course facilitators are Eirbyte. All tools and materials will be supplied. Fundraiser
The Dunlavin & District Forum Christmas lights sub- committee have begun fundraising to upgrade the present Christmas Lights System. A three year project has been put in place to upgrade and maintain the lights already in place. Please look out for the collection boxes in the local businesses. You will also be supporting the Senior Citizens Christmas Party. Your support is very much appreciated

Sympathy
Sympathy is extended to Una Deering on the recent death of her brother Dick Mahon. Dick originally from Valleymount who was living in Edenderry was predeceased by his wife Moira and daughter Mary. He is mourned by Brendan, Fidelma, Joanne and Adrian, and a large circle of family and friends. Dick’s funeral took place in Edenderry on July 29th 2015. May Dick rest in peace.
Mac and Norman Rally
The annual Mac and Norman vintage rally takes place on August 16th. This is the 13th year of the rally and all funds go to cancer Research.

Graveyard Mass
This year the annual cemetery Mass and blessing of the graves will take place on Sunday August 23rd at 7pm. Please spread the word to families who have moved away from the area.
