Hollywood Fair

IT IS FINALLY HERE ! The Hollywood Fair starts on Wed 12th of August.

First up on Wednesday 8pm Talk on The Kings River Valley followed by  Drama ” Sharon s Grave “acted by Ballymore Eustace Drama Society.  Refreshments served all in cost €5
Thursday 13th, Set Dancing Ceili with Syl and Liz. In GAA Club House. Refreshments served all in €10.commencing 9pm
Friday 14th, Fun And Games for CHILDREN at Hollywood. GAA Pitch from 6.30pm to 8 pm.

SINGING SESSION.  In Ceili House “Singing for a Lark ” with Ballymore Singers.  10pm to 11.30pm.
Saturday, 15th. Exhibition of Old Photographs in Hollywood Centre. 2pm to 5pm.
Latin Mass at 6pm with Choir singing old Hymns.
Procession to Mass by  Pony n Trap, Vintage Car or Tractor, Bicycle, or simply by Foot.
Main Celebrant Bishop Eamon Walsh.
7pm Slow Bicycle Race ? High Nellies.
7,30pm. Re Enactment of “The Rebellion” by Ballymore Drama Group together with Hollywood (Film Stars) locals.
Music on Main Stage: Club Cheoil Lochanna and Music under The Mountains Band ARC.
And Shay Fitzsimons and Friends
Sunday: Willie Daly LISDOONVARNA Story Teller / Match Maker will be in attendance.

The Hollywood Fair Book is now on Sale at €5 and is  available from Daly s Shop, Tutty’s Pub, Hollywood Inn in Hollywood, McGreals Texaco & Maxol in Blessington, Fogerty’s , Lanigan’s Butchers & DayToday in Ballymore, Eddies & Centra in Dunlavin. The Hollywood Book is flying out of these shops so don’t delay in securing your copy.

 

Hollywood GAA Lotto Draw

The Hollywood GAA Lotto draw took place on 6th August in Poulaphouca House. The Results are as follows :

Pilates Classes in Hollywood

Starting in early September are Pilates classes on Tuesday nights. Times will be 7-8pm & 8-9pm depending on numbers.

6 Sessions cost only €65 . Classes limited to 10 per session, so call the Hollywood Centre to book you place on 045 864979

 

Acorns Playschool

Acorns Playschool are now enrolling for September 2015. There are limited places available on the ECCE scheme. Please call Bernadine on 087 2406316. Also Available is an After School service, Please call Bernadine for more information.

The Hollywood Centre is available for your child’s special day. We cater for all types for Birthday parties.

Bingo

Bingo takes place in the Hollywood Centre every Thursday night at 8.30pm.

We have two jackpots – €3,000 and €3650 to play for each week.

 

Hollywood Fair (Home Baking Stall)

Work nights an now in full swing , should you have a spare hour or two please come along, “many hands make light work “
