Rivals join forces for charity


In Arklow on Saturday the 12th of September Manchester United and Liverpool Fans joined forces to play a Charity Football match for The Ronald McDonald House Charity, Dublin.

The match arranged by John Scanlon, Joe Byrne, Stuart Kelly, Andrew Giles and Derek Nolan was played on the Astro pitch at Arklow Town FC, Followed by a family day with Karaoke and a massive raffle in the Arklow Rocks GAA hall.

A fantastic day was had by all and in total over €1,600 was raised on the day, with fantastic support from players families businesses on the day there was a real sense of community spirit around the whole event.

Well done to all involved a fantastic event enjoyed by all.
