A Bray family were among those to have perished in Saturday morning’s tragic Carrickmines fire.

27 year old mother of two Tara Gilbert was pregnant at the time.

Her two daughters, 8 year old Jodie and four year old Kelsey, as well as her partner Willie Lynch also died.

Meanwhile, flags over government buildings are to fly at half mast when the funerals of the victims are taking place.

10 people died in the fire on the Glenamuck road in South Dublin, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Books of condolence have opened in a number of churches here in Wicklow, including the holy Redeemer church, Saint Fergals, the Queen of Peace Church and Saint Peters Church in Bray and Saint Mary’s church in Enniskerry.

The National Educational Psychological Service is liasing with staff at the Kilternan Educate Together School, where some of the deceased children attended.
