All four teams who contested this years senior finals have been hit with heavy fines from the County board, following trouble before both games started.
Carnew and Bray Emmets started pushing and shoving each other as the lined up behind the Rathdrum pipe band for the pre-match parade before the senior final and they resumed fighting as the parade came to an end in Aughrim.
As a result of the scuffles, Carnew were fined €1,000, while Bray Emmets were fined €500 for the incident. Carnews Willy Collins also received a two-match ban from the Wicklow Competitions Control Committee.
Rathnew and St Patricks were also hit with fines after scuffles broke out between the two rivals at the football final the following week.
Rathnew were fined €1000 by WCCC, while St Patricks were hit with a €500 fine after tensions boiled over between both sides in the pre-match parade.
Both Rathnew and Bray Emmets won their first-round ties in the Leinster Club championship at the weekend.
