Mrs. Mooney has given outstanding service to her community for over 60 years.
She has been particularly supportive of local groups.
She sold their tickets and their items and kept track of events.
Special thanks to her for supporting Greystones Cancer Support over the years.

We all wish her well and many happy years in retirement.

WICKLOW COUNTY COUNCIL FIRE SERVICE PUBLISHES FESTIVE FIRE WARNING
Wicklow County Council Fire Service is urging everyone to be fire safety conscious this year.
Here are some timely tips from Wicklow Chief Fire Officer, Aidan Dempsey.
A smoke alarm is a vital piece of equipment, no home should be without one.
Make sure your chimney is clean.
Keep Christmas trees away from candles, fires or any heat source.
Unplug all Christmas lights + put out candles before you go to bed or leave house.
Make sure outside lights are suitable + have appropriate transformer.
Don’t overload electrical sockets.
Keep candles away from children + make sure they are on a firm surface/in holder.
Keep candles away from curtains, vents or draughts.
Never place candles on top of a television.
Fit a spark guard to open fires.
Make sure your smoke alarm is working.
Never remove smoke alarm batteries to use in toys.
Close doors to all rooms at night to restrict spread of fire and smoke.
Play your part in preventing fires and make this Christmas Happy and Peaceful !!
