Congratulations to our own senior footballer Dean Healy who lined out with Leinster in the Interprovincial semi-final against Connacht in Parnell Park on Saturday 10th December. Unfortunately, Niall Murphy’s 59 minute goal proved to be the decisive score as Connacht defeated Leinster at Parnell Park on a scoreline of Connacht 2-17 Leinster 1-18.

Congratulations to the Pat’s girls Sinead McGettigan, Sarah Evans, Amy Kavanagh, Zoe Armstrong, Jess Lyons, Lucy Dunne, Ciara Fagan, Kellie Phelan and Niamh Caffrey who have been selected for next year’s U16 ladies county team.


All at St. Patrick’s wish long-time supporter Bridie Delaney a speedy recovery to full health following a recent fall on the main street in Wicklow.


The St Patrick’s Ladies AGM 2016 was held on Thursday 8th December at 8pm

in the Clubhouse Dunbur. Stephen McNulty welcomed everyone to the meeting and has encouraged everyone to attend the Club AGM on this Thursday December 15th.  Thank you to Stephen who has stepped down as Ladies Chairperson. Thank you to Caroline Courtney who has stepped down as Ladies Secretary after five years of excellent work. We are still accepting nominations for Ladies Chairperson and Secretary.

Congratulations to Nicola McGettigan (Treasurer) and Peggy King (Registrar), Caroline Courtney and Kathryn Fox  (Committee Members) on their election.

The Ladies Juvenile Presentation will take place on Sunday 15th January.

GRMA (go raibh maith agat) is the new GAA Membership Card programme providing benefits and rewards to GAA members. It is a ‘thank you’ or ‘go raibh maith agat’ for your involvement in your GAA club, engagement in GAA activities and attendance at games.

Registration for the programme is now open with benefits available from January 2017. When you sign up, you will receive your Membership Card early next year enabling you to avail of partner discounts, special offers and earn points for going to games. Points can be redeemed by individual members or pooled for redemption by GAA clubs.

You will need a GAA membership number to join GRMA and receive a Membership Card. Please request your membership number at your club when you renew your subscription for 2017. New club members will receive their GAA membership number when their registration is completed.

Membership Cards will only be distributed to members who have signed up to GRMA online The programme is only available to adult members (over 18’s).

Only Full members who have fully paid their subscription are entitled to attend the AGM.

Only members who fully paid their subscription on or before 31/3/16 will be entitled to vote at the AGM.

Individuals interested in managing adult playing teams for 2017 should submit their name and management team proposals to the Secretary prior to the AGM. Management teams will be appointed by the Executive Committee.

We had no jackpot winners in our Club Lotto this week! Numbers drawn were 2, 10, 14 and 18. The bonus number was 8. We had two Match three winners – Joey Dunne c/o Colm Byrne and Miriam Melia c/o Whitegates Service Station.
Thanks to the weekly Club Lotto Sellers who give up their time to help raise funds for the Club. It’s greatly appreciated. Make sure you buy a ticket each week and you could be the winner of our Match 4 prize €2,700 or Match 5 €10,000 jackpot!
