According to the MyHome dot ie property report in association with Davy released yesterday, house price inflation is set to accelerate further this year to 8%, driven by the economic recovery and other factors.
The report warns that the combined impact of the Help to Buy scheme which came into effect yesterday and looser lending rules means a double digit rise house prices in a real possibility in 2017.
