Hello everyone, I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and are having a great New Year so far .All the fun was had, all the money was spent, and I don’t want to even think about the amount of food and beverages that have been consumed. But unfortunately It is now “that time of year”, the dreaded January.
If your anything like me your body needs a severe overhaul, your broke and its a little bit depressing now that all the fun is over.
I like any other woman love new clothes and loves to go shopping, but after Christmas is seems like that is the last thing that any of us can do, especially with the bank balance being a little unhealthy after all the spending.
So I have decided to do an inspirational post, and by this I mean, lets re-invent our wardrobes and use what we already have to get us over this little slump. I have always felt that January is a very hard time of the year to shop, yes lots of bargains and sales, but there is nothing more frustrating than when you find something you love, and at a Bargain price but its not in your size, absolutely soul destroying.
Another factor is that almost every new arrival into the stores is Spring/Summer related!! But its January, and its freezing, so buying a cute floaty dress is the last thing on our minds (especially with all the added calories over Xmas).
So Lets be Smart, Lets recycle, Sometimes all we need is a little inspiration.
Most women have the following items or something similar in their wardrobes, a good pair of denims, a pair of boots (ankle/knee length etc), a blazer, a shirt (preferably white or denim), a skirt (mini/knee length or skater) depending on your style, a nice coat, a pair of smart trousers, a LBD, an oversized Knit, a large scarf (it will cover a multitude of problems) and my personal favourites are a leather jacket, a slogan or logo tee, and a pair of fashion trainers.
Another tip when your stuck is to keep it to neutral colours, white/black/beige/tan etc and to add a little spring feel use some soft pastels like dusky pink/powder blue/ light denim, it will take you from Winter into Spring. So here is some style inspiration taken from Pinterest and if you see anything you like please contact me via the following and I will find it for you
